Chey Dunkley, 25 the 6ft 3 centre-back’s current contract at Oxford is due to expire this summer and he is expected to leave the League One club after turning down the offer of a new deal.

A fans favourite with the yellows supporters since his arrival from Kidderminster Harriers in 2014. In the promotion season from league 2 he played 35 times for the U’s scoring 4 goals. In league 1 he played a further 52 times scoring 3 goals.

Championship clubs Nottingham Forest and Birmingham City are rumoured to have scouted the tall defender who would be available on a free transfer.
