Appleton moving on?

U’s Head Coach Michael Appleton is set to sign for Premiership side Leicester City if report coming from Leicester are correct.

Since joining the U’s Michael has rejuvenated the club with nice attractive football a brand now nationally recognised. The style has bought success on the field with good cup runs resulting in 2 Wembley finals and a promotion from Skybet league 2.

His ability to attract young promising players, develop them and move them on for large profits has resulted in other clubs taking notice.

Craig Shakespeare who worked with Michael at WBA is understood to be making strides to recruit the U’s gaffer as his number 2 at the King Power stadium.
