Daniel ‘Dan’ Crowley, 19 is regarded by Arsenal as a future star of the club. But that reputation has been tarnished with Oxford United sending the youngster back to the Gunners early.
Crowley arrived on loan at Oxford on 1st July 2016 on a season long loan going on tour with the U’s out to Spain.
However after 5 starts and coming off the bench 6 times Michael Appleton decided that the player did not fit into his plans. During his stay with the U’s he scored 3 goals. He’s heading back to Arsenal 6 months early.
During his loan stay with the U’s his attitude came into question which was highlighted early on when playing in a preseason friendly at Barnet. An incident occurred between the player and referee.
