Benjamin Büchel, the 27 6ft 1 Liechtenstein international has been released by Oxford United.
The goalkeeper arrived at Oxford in September 2015 originally as back up to Sam Slocombe. He played 31 matches for the U’s helping them to promotion from Skybet league 2 at the end of the 15/16 season.
However with the arrival of Simon Eastwood his form restricted Benji to watching from the bench.
During March 2017 he was loaned to Skybet league 2 side Barnet where he made 4 appearances.
At the end of the 16/17 season Michael Appleton decided not to renew his contract.
