Oxford United are one of a number of League One clubs that are chasing Cambridge United midfielder, Paul Digby, according to Football Insider.
The 26-year-old, who signed a one-year deal with Cambridge last summer after leaving Stevenage, has been ever-present this season, making 35 league appearances.
According to the report, Digby has been offered two new deals by the League Two runners up as he prepares for a life in League One with a different club.
Much of his career has been spent in League Two, but he has experienced Championship football with both Barnsley and Ipswich respectively.
Charlton Athletic and Sunderland are also keeping tabs on the defensive midfielder, with the Addicks believed to be the favourites to sign him.
Oxford have plenty of cover in the defensive midfield role with Alex Rodriguez Gorrin extended his stay at Grenoble Road by a further year, while Cameron Brannagan has made the position his own in the absence of the Spaniard.
