Both teams are linked with the owner of Eastleigh being a 10% share holder of Oxford United. That man is Stewart Donald who’s company Bridle Insurance were sponsors of both teams at one time.
With Stewart being a massive U’s fans he has overseen the rise of the Spitfires upto the National League. Only missing out last season in the playoffs last season, which would have seen the two team play each other.
Major changes have happened off the pitch, but lets look at the team.
The manager is Oxford legend Richard Hill who has also added Yemi Odubade,Jack Midson, Josh Payne and true legend James Constable to their ranks all players who have played in the yellow and blue.
It’ll pose a good work out for both teams with Michael Appleton’s
