Oxford United progressed to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup for the first time in 22 years after Karl Robinson’s side smashed Premier League outfit West Ham United 4-0 at the Kassam Stadium.
The U’s looked comfortable in the first half, despite heading into the break on level terms, but second-half goals from Elliott Moore, Matty Taylor, Tariqe Fosu and Shandon Baptiste sealed an emphatic win for the League One side.
Oxford will face League One rivals Sunderland in the next round, a game that both sides will feel they can win despite three successive league draws between the two sides, including a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the season.
So here are some of the supporter’s reaction to the triumphant win and the home tie with the Black Cats.
Absolutely world class! I love my club šš #oufc

Oxford take on Gillingham this weekend in League One, hoping to extend their run to four league games without defeat.
It’s also worth noting that during the wins over Lincoln City and the Hammers, Robinson’s side have scored ten goals, and have kept four successive clean sheets in all competitions.
