Freddie Grant joins his cousin on loan

17 year old Freddie Grant joins Margate Football Club of the Isthmian League.

The Oxford United youth team captain and left back has joined the Blues on a work experience loan.

Grant will be available for selection this weekend when the Blues welcome Barton Rovers in the FA Cup at Hartsdown Park.

Freddie’s uncle is Martin Allen whose son Charlie Allen plays for Margate.

The team have high ambitions with ex Aldershot and Wimbledon manager Terry Brown in charge. Terry has used his previous connections to bring in a few players who have played for him before.
