Gino van Kessel signs for the U’s

Oxford United have signed 24 year old Curacao international striker Gino van Kessel on a year loan.

At the end of the loan a fee of ?900,000 (approximately £810,000) has been agreed if United want to make the move permanent next summer.

Born in Holland he started off with Ajax before moves took him to Slavia Prague for a fee of ?1,200,000 (approximately £1,000,000).

He’s 6ft 1 and has lightening speed to terrorise opposition defences.
