Oxford United travel to Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night with the U’s looking to extend their unbeaten run.

Following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland, Karl Robinson’s side are now seven games without a loss in the league.

However, Doncaster’s run of six league games without a win saw the club part ways with Richie Wellens. The Yorkshire outfit also bowed out of the FA Cup with a second-round defeat at home to Mansfield Town on Saturday.

The U’s find themselves in seventh place in League One, one point off the playoffs and just five off the top three teams in the division. As for Donny, they’re already six points from safety in 23rd spot.

Doncaster have scored the fewest goals in the division with just 11 from their 19 games. Winger Joe Dodoo is the top scorer with five. Meanwhile, only four teams have conceded more than Doncaster’s 34.

The hosts are without John Bostock, Ro-Shaun Williams, Dan Gardner, Charlie Seaman, Cameron John and Fejiri Okenabirhie through injury. Oxford are still without Sam Winnall and Jack Stevens, although the latter is close to a return. Defender Steve Seddon is also available after his suspension last time out.

Donny have won the last two home meetings between the sides and are unbeaten in the last four encounters at the Keepmoat Stadium. In fact, Oxford’s last win in Yorkshire came back in 2003 in a Division Three clash. However, those two defeats are the only losses for the U’s in the last eight meetings.

Predicted line-up: Simon Eastwood, Steve Seddon, Elliott Moore, Luke McNally, Sam Long, Herbie Kane, Cameron Brannagan, Marcus McGuane, Nathan Holland, Mark Sykes, Matty Taylor.

Prediction: Doncaster Rovers 0-3 Oxford United
