Just when we thought we were getting over our injury list the FA Cup match saw two players stretchered off.

Jon Paul Pittman went down with a shoulder/arm injury. Initial reports indicate it looks like at least 4 weeks but could be upto 4 months out.

Andy Whing went down holding his leg again initial reports indicate a minimum of 6 weeks but fears are it could rule him out for the season if an operation is needed.

Both players had been starting to pick up form and looking like key players for the remainder of the season. So it will be another knock back for the Oxford team.

On a postive note Tommy Craddock could be involved in Saturday’s match. Deane Smalley however is likely to be out until the new year.

Michael Duberry is uping his training but still has not headed any balls in his recovery so we are not expecting to see him for another couple of weeks.
