Oxford United are the favourites to sign Brentford youngster, Fin Stevens, according to Football League World.
The 20-year-old, who is also a target for Coventry, Reading and Cheltenham, would join the U’s on a season-long loan from the Premier League side.
The Bees see Oxford as a preferred destination for the Wales U23 defender due to the style of play that head coach Liam Manning will execute.
Stevens, who spent a decade in Arsenal’s youth system before eventually joining Brentford in 2020, spent the first half of last season on loan at Swansea but managed just five appearances before being recalled in January.
Now, the Bees, who offered the youngster a five-year deal when he joined the club, are looking for him to gain more experience in the Football League.
Stevens has also made ten appearances for Brentford, with one coming as a substitute in the Premier League during a 4-1 defeat against Southampton in November.
The right-back will be a good fit for Manning with Sam Long the only recognised right-sided defender in the current squad.
