This Sunday sees the 60th battle between Oxford and Swindon.

Its fair to say that Swindon have the upper hand in the 59 matches to date.

Swindon have 24 wins to Oxford’s 15 with the teams drawing 20 times.

Its not a great statistic for the yellows 25% win rate.

Very similar to Luke Williams (Head coach of the Robins) he’s been in charge for 58 matches with 16 wins 19 draws and 23 losses. Not great for any manager but the Swindon board put faith in him in March 2016 by handing him a 5 year contract.

Looking at the statistics of Oxford’s Head coach Michael Appleton he’s been in charge for 151 matches winning 67 wins 44 draws and 40 losses showing just over 44% win rate.

Form over the last 6 matches:
Swindon 1 win 2 draws 3 losses 5 points from possible 18
Oxford 3 wins 1 draw 2 losses 10 points from possible 18

10th March 2001 is the last time Swindon fans went home happy. Since then the U’s have won 6 in a row and drawn the last encounter.

Who’s statistic will improve and who’s will get worse Oxford United’s or Luke Williams?
