Oxford United will face Championship side West Brom away in the fifth round of the FA Cup if the U’s manage to progress past Newcastle United in their fourth-round replay.

Karl Robinson’s side deservedly shared the spoils after their goalless draw at St James’ Park against the Premier League outfit and will take to the pitch again next Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Baggies saw off West Ham at the London Stadium 1-0, with former Hammers boss Slaven Bilic now in charge of the Championship leaders.

The U’s last visited the Hawthorns in 2014 when the hosts won their League Cup tie on penalties.

In 23 meetings between the two sides, Oxford have won just five, but four have come in the last six meetings.

The match will be played the week commencing March 2, with the prize money for winners in the fourth round £180,000.
