Fresh from their break away in Portugal the U’s take on another Championship side in Brentford.
Head coach Dean Smith has seen his side win 5-1 against Aldershot (conference) away and draw against Lausanne-Sport 1-1 who play in the top Swiss league.
The last time the teams met was in the capital one cup at Griffin Park where the U’s came out on top 4-0 winners 11 Aug 2015. The only player to play in that match that is still at the club is Josh Ruffles. Josh Ashby and Sam Long were on the bench that day.
The current U’s squad is a work in progress with Pep Clotet still shaping his side and working on who he wants in his side.
