Pep adds Barcelona player to the squad

Pep Clotet has added a fellow Spaniard man to his squad.

Josep Miquel Fernández Codina known as Xemi has joined the team on a 3 year contract. He’s a 22 year old who was recently playing in the Spanish 3rd tier of football for the Barcelona B. He played a significant role in 34 games scoring 2 goals.

Xemi started his career in the youth team at Sant Gabriel before moving on to Damm CF U14s. He remained at the club until he moved to Cornellà U19s where he ended up playing for the first team. This is when Barcelona noticed him and hes been with them for 3 years.

He’s a 6ft 1 midfield playmaker who like to get box to box. His height allows him to be a threat from set pieces and he is also versatile playing in any position in the middle of the park.
