As Oxford United prepare for their first pre-season match of the summer at Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, we take a look at some of the build up ahead of the game.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge. It’s going to be incredibly difficult with some of the world-class players they’ve got. But it’s great for our players and we’re expecting a big crowd.”
The U’s boss is ready, so how are the fans preparing? #OUFCInGlagow has been a popular hashtag as over 1000 fans have travelled North of the border to the the U’s first game of the season.
First though, there was the small matter of actually getting to Glasgow.

It’s going to be a great turnout from the Yellow Army. Its not quite Austria or Portugal as of pre-season tours of past, but many fans have made it as adventurous. Let’s hope for a fantastic afternoon.
