Stalybridge Celtic have signed 20 year old striker James Roberts on loan from League One side Oxford United until the end of the season.
Robbo was signed by Oxford at the age of 16 from Wycombe Wanderers to finish his football education with the yellows youth team.
He finished the season as the youth team’s top scorer before being offered a pro contract.
He’s since had two spells on loan with National League South outfit Oxford City and a month with League Two side Barnet towards the end of last season. In 2015 he had a loan spell at new Stalybridge boss Steve Burr’s side Chester City.
