Substitutes:31 Crocombe,16 Whing,17 Capaldi,19 Cox,32 Lynn,15 Potter,28 MarshOxford put up a decent display until half time and were unlucky not to have been awarded a penalty just before half time. However it was clear the team was set up to play deep to respect the ability in the Port Vale team.

After half time cracks were starting to appear in the United side which Vale took advantage of. Chris Wilder made all his changes and also changed to 433 but the team to be honest were well beaten in the end.

I would suspect it`s not a nice atmosphere for the players and staffs at United`s training ground as Chris Wilder and co try to plan for the next game at Home on Saturday against Accrington Stanley.
