Spectulation around U’s winger

All Summer speculation has surrounded U’s winger Marvin Johnson, 26 whether he will stay or go.

last season the player who arrived from SPL side Motherwell for what was rumoured to be a record transfer fee in the region of £650k was scouted by several club.

Although the U’s were forced to play the talented player as a stand in left back his performances attracted lots of attention.

U’s fans believed that Magic Johnson would excel in league one with his blistering pace and ability to ghost past players as if they were standing still.

In recent weeks the yellows have added Ricardinho which would allow the flying winger to play in his best position. However Hull’s reported bid of a million pounds has sounded the alarm bells amongst the yellow army to doubts whether the player will be around long.

The rumours mounted after the U’s trip to Scunthorpe when the player was left out of the squad altogether with a reported tight hamstring.
