Oxford United turn their attention to the FA Cup this weekend when the U’s welcome Maidenhead United.

The U’s stopped a three-game winless run with victory at Lincoln on Tuesday night, meaning they end October second in League One.

Maidenhead are 21st in the National League but picked up a 3-2 win over Eastleigh at the weekend. However, that was their first league victory in 14 games, having won twice from the opening four.

The U’s will be without Sam Long after he picked up an injury on Tuesday night. Marcus Browne has returned to training but remains a doubt, along with Kyle Edwards.

Reece Smith and Chanka Zimba are the Magpies’ top scorers with four goals each. They also have defender James Golding in their squad and he is on loan from the U’s.

The two sides have never met so this is a first encounter between the clubs.

Predicted line-up: Simon Eastwood, Ciaron Brown, Jordan Thorniley, Stephan Negru, Fin Stevens, Josh McEachran, Josh Johnson, Cameron Brannagan, Josh Murphy, Max Woltman, Sonny Perkins.

Prediction: Oxford United 3-0 Maidenhead United
