Sumrith “Tiger” Thanakarnjanasuth Chairman of Oxford United has been in post since 26th Feb 18.

Its just 2 weeks since the Thai business man has taken over at the helm of Oxford United. Fans are getting frustrated as the team has now been searching for a new manager since the sacking of Pep Clotet on the 22nd Jan 18.

The form of the yellows on the pitch has got the fans concerned as they are showing relegation form opposed to being a team chasing at the top end of the table.

However Tiger has been proactive in his 2 weeks by removing no fewer than 5 directors from the board. Stephen Dolton, Peter Lee, Simon Kelner, Lionel Tarassenko and Benn Brown have all resigned from the club.

This leaves Tiger, Darryl Eales and David Jones as the only registered Directors of the club.

The appointment of a new manager was halted as Tiger wanted to carry out the process himself and meet the candidates in person which is understandable as the new owner.

Its been a long 2 weeks but putting a sense of perspective on it Tiger has been working hard to establish his own mark on the club in a very short space of time.
