Oxford United defender Luke McNally has drawn attention from Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur, according to Football Insider.

The report suggests that the north London club have stepped up their interest with rival clubs also showing curiosity. It continues that one club have tabled a bid of £2 million for McNally.

The defender, who joined the U’s in January 2021, has scored four times from 28 appearances since his arrival, including last this month against Portsmouth and Ipswich.

The 22-year-old is under contract at Grenoble Road until June 2024, meaning any club making an offer will have to offer a sizable sum to prize him away.

Following an injury to captain Elliott Moore, McNally has stepped up to the plate and performed brilliantly. He is certainly seen as the next player on the conveyer belt of big transfers away from the club.
