Oxford United’s FA Cup first-round tie at Hayes and Yeading United has been chosen for live television coverage.

BT Sport will broadcast the match between the League One side and the Southern South side, with four tiers between the two clubs.

The match will take place on Sunday, November 10 with a kick-off time of 2.15 and both sides will receive a broadcast fee of £75,000.

Oxford will head to the SKYEx Community Stadium looking to overcome a non-league outfit for the second successive season.

Last season, the U’s needed a replay to get past Forest Green Rovers, before eventually bowing out at the third round following defeat at Brentford.

The season before, Oxford were eliminated at this stage ensuing defeat at Port Vale but made the fifth round under Michael Appleton a year previous.

These two sides have met before. Chris Wilder’s Oxford beat them 2-0 in this competition in 2008 before securing a win in the FA Trophy the following season.

And although the U’s lost both Conference games against Hayes and Yeading in 2010, they secured promotion back to League Two after a 3-1 playoff final win over York City.

Oxford are currently nine games unbeaten in all competitions, and their good form and the talented squad should be no match for the opposition.
