U’s promote 3 youngsters for next season.

The club has this week offered local lads Aaron Heap, Dan Carr and Nathan Baker a scholarship opportunity.

Aaron is a midfielder who has been with the club since the under 9s. Dan is a full back, while Nathan is also a midfielder.

Youth Development Manager Richard Blackmore told the official OUFC website:

“All three players have got real talent and deserve their opportunity.

“They can see that the club puts its faith in good young players and I`m sure they will want to make the most of their chance. There is still a long way to go and a lot of hard work, but we will work with them, help them develop, and provide them with the best opportunity to make the next step up, which is to become a professional footballer.”
