Oxford United could welcome back three players from injury for their trip to Lincoln City this weekend.
Shandon Baptiste travelled to Bolton on Tuesday as the U’s played out a goalless draw with League One’s bottom club, but sat the game out after taking a knock during the win over Tranmere Rovers.
Defender Elliott Moore and striker Jamie Mackie both stayed at home after suffering a back spasm, but all three have been involved in training.
All three will be monitored over the next two days to see what sort of impact they could have at Sincil Bank.
Talking before today’s training session, Oxford boss Karl Robinson told the Oxford Mail: “Certainly Shandon should train today. We’re looking at seeing how Jamie and Elliott respond to light training today. I wouldn’t be surprised (if they made it for Saturday).”
The U’s will be looking to make it three league games without defeat when they face managerless Lincoln.
