Woodman Jnr linked to the U’s

Freddie Woodman 20 is being lined up as a possible replacement if Simon Eastwood departs the U’s.

Freddie son of former U’s no 1 Andy who made 112 appearances for the yellows between Jan 02 and May 04.

6ft 2 Freddie came up through the ranks at the Toon and has represented England at every level from U16 through to U21.

He has had loan spells with Hartlepool, Crawley and Kilmarnock.
