A Tyrone Marsh penalty in the 69th minute was the difference to the two teams known as Oxford.

U’s fans flocked to see their two new signings Danny Hylton and Michael Collins. Both impressed the on looking yellows army. City put in a decent display but could not break through the U’s rearguard.

Michael Appleton put on 10 fresh legs in the 63rd minute and the energy by the youngsters were rewarded in the 69th minute.
