Oxford United manager Karl Robinson was the guest on this week’s BBC Radio Oxford Five Minutes Fans Forum.
Speaking just days after his sides derby victory over Swindon, the U’s boss was in a positive mood. Here are some of the highlights from the interview:
How are talks going with the players out of contract in the summer?

“Yeah, ongoing,” Robinson said. “There’s some things we’re looking to do and things we’re willing to wait.
“We have a Thursday where we set aside future planning dates and what we can do to improve as the season draws closer.”
Are there any short term plans for the players who were on loan at National League South sides who have had their season curtailed? Any further loans expected or opportunities to bring them into the squad considering the injuries we have?

“We know (Elliot) Lee’s back this week. We’re back up to the right numbers.
“We have a very good 18-man squad, probably better than most.”

“He has another year, so that’s not something that we would do really with players with that long left on their contract.
“He’s a very key, valuable member of the team.
“He’s certainly someone that you want here next year, 100 per cent, but we have that option in his contract anyway.”
