Oxford United are one of several Football League clubs showing an interest in striker Dan Agyei, according to Football League World.

The 25-year-old, who has netted 12 goals for Crewe this season, is out of contract at the end of the current campaign after signing an 18-month deal form Oxford last January.

The U’s, along with Exeter, Luton, Portsmouth and Salford, are all looking to sign the former Burnley man in the summer, according to the report.

Crewe have held talks with several players, including Agyei, over a new deal but manager Lee Bell confirmed there has been interest in their top scorer.

During his time at Oxford, the striker netted 11 goals in 93 appearances, including a late winner at rivals Swindon.

While his game time under Karl Robinson was limited, new manager Liam Manning may be able to get more out of him than his predecessor.
