Oxford United will be looking to end a run of seven defeats in eight games when they travel to Lincoln on Saturday.

The U’s suffered their joint-heaviest defeat of the campaign against Bristol Rovers last time out, meaning the club have accumulated just one point from a possible 24.

However, that result proved too much for Karl Robinson who was released from his role the following day.

As for Lincoln, they are unbeaten in their last eight league games but six of those have ended in draws. They have also kept five clean sheets in that run – as many as Oxford have in their last 45 matches in all competitions. 16 games in, the Imps are also unbeaten at home but 13 have ended level.

Oxford don’t have any new injury concerns ahead of the game although Sam Baldock was forced off against Bristol Rovers, while the Imps appear to have a clean bill of health.

Lincoln have won the previous two meetings between the sides, and have won this fixture 2-0 in each of the last two seasons. However, the U’s won 6-0 on a previous visit, which was a record-breaking result for the club.

Predicted line-up: Simon Eastwood, Brandon Fleming, Ciaron Brown, Stuart Findlay, Elliott Moore, Sam Long, Marcus McGuane, Lewis Bate, Cameron Brannagan, Marcus Browne, Kyle Joseph.

Prediction: Lincoln City 0-0 Oxford United
