Oxford United manager Karl Robinson is expected to welcome back three of his eight injured players this weekend.
Josh Ruffels, Chris Cadden and Rob Hall should all be available when the U’s travel to Hayes and Yeading United in the FA Cup this Sunday.
Robinson told the Oxford Mail: “Cadds is training today or tomorrow, Ruffs thinks he will be OK as well.
“Hally should be fit. He’s got an assessment today on changes of direction and contact stuff. We’ll know more about him by the end of today.”
Ruffels picked up a knock in the first half as the U’s drew at Portsmouth last weekend, while Hall was replaced during the Carabao Cup win over Sunderland after scoring the opener.
Cadden picked up his hamstring injury the weekend before as the U’s eased past Rochdale, but the Scot also looks likely to return.
It’s likely Robinson will rotate his squad this weekend with fatigue and injuries hitting the camp. These three will potentially have some part to play, even as a substitute.
