Oxford United will be looking to build on their win over Cheltenham when the U’s visit promotion rivals, Bolton.

Des Buckingham’s side were without a win in four before their 2-1 victory over the Robins.

As for Bolton, they have drawn their last two fixtures with both away results ending 2-2. They won their last home fixture against Cambridge and are unbeaten in their last seven matches at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Sam Long is available after illness but Tyler Goodrham will miss the trip with a calf problem.

Top scorer Dion Charles has missed the last seven league games with a knee injury while second top scorer Victor Adeboyejo was forced off after just five minutes against Exeter. Dan Nlundulu, Carlos Gomes and goalkeeper Nathan Baxter are all out.

The two sides played out a goalless draw in what was Des Buckingham’s first home game since taking over. In eight meetings, Bolton have won on four occasions, with Oxford picking up two victories. However, they both came on the road.

Predicted line-up: Jamie Cumming, Greg Leigh, Ciaron Brown, Elliott Moore, Fin Stevens, Cameron Brannagan, Marcus McGuane, Josh Murphy, Ruben Rodrigues, Owen Dale, Mark Harris.

Prediction: Bolton Wanderers 1-1 Oxford United
