Oxford United will be looking to bounce back from their defeat against Leyton Orient when the U’s travel to league leaders, Portsmouth.

That loss was the first in seven for Des Buckingham’s side, with the first point in that unbeaten run coming against Pompey.

Since that draw at Grenoble Road, John Mousinho’s side picked up four successive wins before a draw against Charlton last time out. They sit seven points clear of second-placed Derby.

Elliott Moore should be available after missing the last few games through injury, and Oisin Smyth could also be in contention. Fin Stevens and Marcus McGuane returned to the bench against Orient with the latter coming on as a substitute

Portsmouth have several players missing through injury, including Joe Morrell, Terry Devlin, Regan Poole and Alex Robertson.

As mentioned, the two sides played out a 2-2 draw when they met in January. The U’s are without a win in their last four games against Pompey and have failed to win in their last seven trips to Fratton Park.

Predicted line-up: Jamie Cumming, Greg Leigh, Ciaron Brown, Elliott Moore, Sam Long, Jay Matete, Cameron Brannagan, Ruben Rodrigues, Tyler Goodrham, Josh Murphy, Mark Harris.

Prediction: Portsmouth 2-0 Oxford United
