Oxford United will be looking to continue their recent run when the U’s welcome Peterborough.

Des Buckingham’s side have picked up seven points from their last three games, and ten from four.

Posh won the Football League Trophy at the weekend and eased past Port Vale on Wednesday night. Now, they have won eight from their last ten games in all competitions, but one of those defeats came at home against Carlisle.

Oxford will be hopeful that Joe Bennett, Cameron Brannagan and Elliott Moore are available. Bennett missed the win over Burton while Brannagan and Moore both picked up knocks during that victory.

Peterborough’s attack is deadly. Ephron Mason-Clark has 19 goals, Kwame Poku and Harrison Burrows have 12 while Jonson Clarke-Harris and Ricky-Jade Jones have 11. They are the highest-scoring side in League One after their 3-0 win over the Valiants.

With four goals in his last two games, Mark Harris is now on 17 goals for the season. He has four more games to reach his target of 20.

Predicted line-up: Jamie Cumming, Greg Leigh, Ciaron Brown, Elliott Moore, Sam Long, Josh McEachran, Cameron Brannagan, Ruben Rodrigues, Josh Murphy, Owen Dale, Mark Harris.

Prediction: Oxford United 1-1 Peterborough United
