Oxford United have identified Crystal Palace left-back Tayo Adaramola as a potential January transfer, according to Alan Nixon.
The 18-year-old has recently been recalled following a loan spell at Coventry City, where he made just one appearance for the Sky Blues.
Having turned out twice for the Eagles, manager Patrick Vieira is keen for the young full-back to gain some much-needed minutes.
The Dublin-born defender also has ten youth international caps for the Republic of Ireland at U17, U19, and U21 levels.
An older report from Nixon claims the U’s have also shown interest in Wigan defender, Tom Pearce. Again, this would be a loan move in January.
The left-back played 16 times for the Latics during their promotion-winning campaign, adding four assists.
Left-back is certainly an area that Karl Robinson needs cover, with Steve Seddon the only recognised player for the role, although centre-back Ciaron Brown can also play there.
