Oxford United`s defender Canice Carroll has been called up for the Republic of Ireland U19 squad to face matches against Slovakia, Kosovo and Portugal. This will mean the young defender will miss the away trip to Portsmouth on Sunday 26th March.

The tournament will act as Europe’s qualifier for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
