Oxford United’s Christian Riberio 27 has taken the decision to retire from football on medical advise.
The former Welsh International arrived at Oxford in July 2016, however a broken ankle in preseason meant he had to miss the majority of last season.
He made his debut in March 2017 making just 3 appearances. He’s made 14 more appearances for the yellows scoring a vital goal against Charlton.
The right-back was suffering with serious pain in his left knee and was medically advised to retire.
