Covers put on Oxford pitch

Oxford United have put covers on the pitch at the Kassam Stadium to help the U’s game this Saturday 19th Jan to go ahead.

Oxford host Rotherham United in a npower league 2 match. Groundstaff made the decision on Tuesday morning to protect the playing surface as temperatures of below 0c are forecast for the rest of the week.

The condition will be monitored by the club.
