FA Cup Preview: Woking v Oxford United – Team News, Form and Prediction

|

Oxford United switch their attention to the FA Cup on Sunday when the U’s travel to National League side Woking.

Oxford are unbeaten in three following draws against Portsmouth and Fleetwood either side of a win at Bolton.

Woking are flying high in the National League and sit fifth in the table following a run of just one defeat in their last eight games.

Midfielder Reece Grego-Cox has scored seven times this season from just 12 appearances while James Daly has notched six. Former Oxford right-back Kyran Lofthouse has also scored three times this season.

Those are similar numbers to Oxford with Cameron Brannagan on seven and Kyle Joseph on six.

The U’s welcome back Billy Bodin and Matty Taylor from suspension but Sam Long is still out injured. Marcus Browne went off at halftime in the draw against Fleetwood but could be in contention.

From the last eight meetings between the two sides, there have been three Oxford victories, four draws and one Woking win.

Predicted line-up: Ed McGinty, Steve Seddon, Stuart Findlay, Elliott Moore, James Golding, Alex Rodriguez Gorrin, Cameron Brannagan, James Henry, Billy Bodin, Tyler Goodrham, Gatlin O’Donkor.

Prediction: Woking 0-1 Oxford United
