Oxford United travel to Shrewsbury on Wednesday night and will hope to continue their impressive away form.

The U’s are unbeaten in their last four league matches on the road, picking up wins at Exeter and Bolton respectively.

As for the Shrews, they progressed to the second round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win over York but that was a first victory in four matches. Oxford saw their FA Cup match at Woking postponed.

The U’s welcome back Billy Bodin and Matty Taylor from suspension but Sam Long remains an injury doubt.

Shrewsbury are without Daniel Udoh and George Nurse while Aiden O’Brien and Julien Da Costa are both doubts.

The hosts are three places and three points better off than the U’s, but Oxford have scored three more goals.

Oxford have a good record against the Shrews with seven wins and a draw from the last eight meetings. The U’s have won by a one-goal scoreline from each of their last four visits to the New Meadow.

Predicted line-up: Simon Eastwood, Ciaron Brown, Stuart Findlay, Elliott Moore, Djavan Anderson, Marcus McGuane, Cameron Brannagan, James Henry, Marcus Browne, Kyle Joseph, Gatlin O’Donkor.

Prediction: Shrewsbury Town 0-1 Oxford United
