Four Championship clubs are weighing up a late move for Oxford United youngster, Tyler Goodrham, according to TEAMtalk.

The 20-year-old, who signed a new long-term deal earlier this month, has arguably been one of the club’s most promising players this season.

However, given his recent rise, which includes three goals from his last six league games, Middlesbrough, Hull, Bristol City and Coventry have all shown interest.

Bristol City boss Liam Manning will know plenty about the 20-year-old, having managed him on 23 occasions during his brief time at Oxford. Goodrham also scored in an FA Cup defeat against Coventry.

Having made his Football League debut last season, the youngster has gone on to make 81 appearances for the club, scoring 12 times and adding six assists.

With interest high, the club have acted smartly by tying him down to a long-term deal as they value the academy graduate as a prized asset.

Despite that, Oxford are short of wingers with several sidelined through injury so to lose one this late in the transfer window could be a major blow to their promotion hopes.
