Oxford United travel to MK Dons on Saturday with the U’s looking to extend their unbeaten run to nine league games.

The U’s won 2-1 at bottom club Doncaster on Tuesday night, a result which followed successive draws against Sunderland and Rotherham respectively.

Promotion rivals MK Dons are one place and one point below the U’s after their 1-1 draw against Plymouth on Wednesday night and have lost just once from their last six league games. The Dons have scored six more goals than Oxford but the U’s have conceded five fewer.

Former Swindon man Scott Twine has netted nine goals and added six assists while striker Max Watters has scored seven, although he is an injury doubt. Midfielder Matt O’Reilly has provided five goals and five assists, Tottenham loanee Troy Parrott has added four goals and four assists while Hiram Boateng and Peter Kioso both have three goals and three assists this season.

Cameron Brannagan is an injury doubt for Oxford after he was replaced at halftime at the Keepmoat Stadium with a hamstring issue. Jack Stevens and Alex Rodriguez Gorrin remain sidelined.

The two sides have only met eight times with this fixture ending 1-1 last season. Oxford are yet to win at the Stadium:MK, with three draws and a defeat.
