Oxford United will be looking to build on last weekend’s win at Exeter when Peterborough visit Grenoble Road.

The U’s won 4-2 in Devon and took a four-goal lead in the game – which was a first win in six in all competitions.

As for the Posh, they lost against Wycombe last time out but that was a first defeat in six, which includes four wins.

Sam Baldock and Josh Murphy made a return to the bench in recent weeks but they have been ruled out, while Lewis Bate is also close to a return.

Harvey Cartwright, Ollie Norburn and Emmanuel Fernandez are all out for Peterborough, while Ben Thompson and Kwame Poku are doubts.

Cameron Brannagan netted his seventh goal of the season against Exeter while Kyle Joseph’s brace took him to five.

Jonson Clarke-Harris has scored ten times this season with Ricky-Jade Jones and Jack Marriott both on five each.

Posh may be the third-highest-scoring side in League One but they have conceded four more goals than the U’s, who sit 14 places and eight points behind.

Oxford have failed to win in the last four meetings, losing three, but had won the previous two with 1-0 victories. There have been three U’s wins and two Peterborough wins from the last six meetings at Grenoble Road.

Predicted line-up: Simon Eastwood, Ciaron Brown, Stuart Findlay, Elliott Moore, Sam Long, Alex Rodriguez Gorrin, Cameron Brannagan, Marcus McGuane, Marcus Browne, Kyle Joseph, Matty Taylor.
