Oxford United will be looking to continue their winning run when the U’s visit Plymouth on Tuesday.

Karl Robinson’s side picked up 2-1 victories over Cheltenham and Burton either side of a 5-0 thrashing of Leyton Orient in the Football League Trophy but saw their match at Shrewsbury postponed following the death of the Queen.

The Pilgrims have made a good start to the season with five wins from their opening seven league games and are unbeaten in their last four in all competitions.

Ryan Hardie has netted four goals this season, while midfielder Finn Azaz has scored three. Plymouth also have three players that have found the net twice.

The U’s still have several players out injured, including Yanic Wildschut, Elliott Moore and Matty Taylor, but Sam Baldock and Josh Murphy are edging closer to a return. Billy Bodin is available after serving a one-match suspension.

James Bolton, Conor Grant and Mickel Miller are all doubts for the hosts.

Plymouth did the double over Oxford last season with the hosts winning 1-0 in this fixture. From the last eight meetings, both sides have four wins.

Predicted line-up: Simon Eastwood, Stuart Findlay, John Mousinho, Sam Long, Ciaron Brown, James Henry, Marcus McGuane, Cameron Brannagan, Lewis Bate, Billy Bodin, Kyle Joseph.

Prediction: Plymouth Argyle 1-1 Oxford United
