Looking back to June

June is often a quiet month for most football clubs as fans players and all connected with local football clubs take a break from football.

However even though matters on the pitch may have subsided, its a hectic time for rumours and action behind the scenes.

New faces announced at the club have been short with just one player Danny Hylton and head physio Andy Proctor joining the club.

However expect that to change this coming month as the U’s are still searching for a first team coach and several players to bolster the squad.

The ownership has been the real tasty rumour in the last month with two groups thought to be interested in taking over from Ian Lenagan.

However the current owner and chairman has not stated that he intends to sell the club.
