27 year old Aaron Martin’s season is over after he came off the pitch during the U’s win over Macclesfield in the FA cup after 4 minutes.
The towering centre half has had a torrid time since signing from Coventry City during the Summer making just 11 appearances.
He ruptured his Achilles and was stretchered off and taken to hospital.
He joins Wes Thomas, Christian Ribeiro, Sam Long and Liam Sercombe on the long-term injured list while Joe Skarz is still out will a back problem.
