Matt Tubbs in tug of war between three clubs

Oxford United are reportedly in a three horse race to sign hotshot Matt Tubbs.

According to the Daily Star striker Matt Tubbs is wanted by Crawley, Rotherham and Oxford. He has a £100,000 price tag.

Oxford are known to be on the lookout for a striker who would be able to put the chances away. Last season stats showed that United had more chances than opposition but often drew or lost the match with countless chances being wasted.

Matt Tubbs would be a player who would get the fans flocking to the Kassam stadium if he were to the striker they were after.
