Firoz Kassam refused to answer any questions from the press after his team?s dismal 3-0 home defeat to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.


The Chairman issued a ‘no comment’ statement before hearing a question from awaiting journalists. His refusal came after many fans contacted BBC Oxford’s post match phone-in requesting answers from Kassam. Frustration amongst United’s fans is growing, chants of ‘what a load of rubbish’ echoed around the stadium after their team?s latest home defeat.


Oxford have lost six of their last eight games at home and lie 17th in League 2. Saturday’s match was watched by a record low league attendance at the Kassam Stadium of 3,702.
