One out as transfer window draws to a close

Kane Hemmings 25 has joined League 2 Mansfield on loan for the season. The deal includes a chance for Oxford United to recall the player in January as well as the two clubs putting an option in where Mansfield can make the deal permanent.

Kane arrived from SPL side Dundee in August 2016 after being the SPL’s 2nd top scorer. Oxford United activated a clause in the players contract where if £250k was met as a transfer fee the player could move.

Last season he scored 18 goals in 56 matches albeit that includes 3 goals in 2 games for Dundee.
